Reminder - SDC is changing certificates

Dear ERP vendors,

Reminder: Back in April 2022, SDC introduced a new Root CA certificate

We have previously sent out an email with the information that SDC has introduced a new Root CA-certificate and that this entails a need for all ERP vendors to install the new Root certificate and switch to the new certificate chain at the earliest opportunity.

SDC can still see that some BankConnect users are calling in with the old certificate chain, which is why we are sending this reminder that all ERP vendors must remember to switch to the new certificate chain if they haven’t already done so.

If you have installed the new Root CA-certificate and have switched to the new certificate chain and no longer use the old certificate chain, you do not need to read further.

The change to the new certificate chain is recommended to be carried out as soon as possible with the aim of meeting the fact that the old certificate chain can no longer be used the next time a bank's bank certificate expires.

The change is relevant to avoid possible operation problems going forward. Furthermore, at present both, BankConnect, SDC and SDC's banks, have an increased focus on this transition - we therefore also hope that you will have focus on this transition with the purpose that we together ensure that the end users are affected as little as possible.

By the link below you can find a guide on how to install the new Root CA-certificate, as well as how to ensure that you transfer to the new certificate chain.

If you have any questions or experience any challenges in connection with the change of the certificate chain, please reach out to BankConnect. BankConnect and SDC will then try to help and meet the challenges as soon as possible.
